While the Starfish was designed primarily as an astronomical guider, many people have enquired about using it as a primary imaging camera. The following examples show the types of images that can be obtained using the camera in various settings.

Please note that these are some of the very first images taken with the prototype camera and image quality of the final released product will likely improve. Check this web site for updates to the gallery.

The images were scaled down to 683 x 512 pixels for the web page. Remember that the full size images are 2047 x 1536 pixels!

Note... the astronomy pictures below are from the Starfish camera with a monochrome image sensor.
